Hi my name is Steve and I come from Auckland, New Zealand. I have a nautical background, having spent some 25 years in the New Zealand Navy, followed by 8 years in the Marine section of the New Zealand Custom Service.

I initially trained as a skipper, and hold a New Zealand offshore Masters Certificate. I enjoy the new challenge onboard as Engineer.

I am married to Karyn and have three adult children Nick, Natalie and Jodie.

I enjoy riding my motorbike in my spare time and watching my favorite rugby team the New Zealand All Blacks win (and sometimes loose)
