I began life in semi-rural Australia, but was drawn to the ocean from a very early age. After qualifying with an Australian Commercial Captains license in 1987,

I commanded Dive Charter Vessels through-out the fabulous Great Barrier Reef. Since 1995 I have been involved with Mega-Yachts, and have been lucky enough to spend many of those years in the Pacific. I have also been priveliged to oversee the build process of three Mega-Yachts, including the 230ft “Aussie Rules” for Greg Norman.

I love the outdoors and the environment, and spend all of my time off either on or under the water, and, as we Aussies say, “in the bush”.
